The PgMP® is a credential that recognizes demonstrated experience, skill, and performance in the oversight of multiple, related projects that are aligned with an organizational objective and strategic goal. Candidates for the PgMP® manage a program’s resources to ensure the ultimate success of the program and are responsible for modifying programs and making decisions that advance strategic and business objectives to ensure the ultimate success and acceptance of the program.
PgMP® Credential – Evaluation steps :
The PgMP credential journey follows a three step evaluation process once the application is approved and fee is paid.
1.1. Evaluation 1 – Application Review:The initial evaluation occurs through an extensive application review during which a panel of program managers will perform a review of your professional project and program management experience.

This workshop on The Standard for Program Management is to focus upon how to drive the strategy of the organization through programs and the interrelated component projects within a given program.
Update about the Program Management Professional (PgMP)® credential Role Delineation Study (RDS) and examination change that we announced back in March. You may recall that the major outcomes of the PgMP® RDS include:
- The three evaluations for the PgMP® credential, which include the panel review, the examination, and the Multi-rater Assessment (MRA), are being updated to reflect changes to the role that were identified in the study.
- The new RDS restructures the program management performance domains and tasks.
